A big fan of Mumsnet and more goings on in the life of a spagetti-headed Artist.

The babes and I have just got in.

DD is doing the washing up  (Oh Lordy the water everywhere but being an encouraging mum have decided to leave the kitchen) and ds is on the telly doing games and having the life independance and general brains sucked out of him for a good hour or so.  I rather love this hour from 4-5pm when we all get in.

Life is good.  Am officially now a Mumsnet blogger which am really pleased about as I utterly believe in the good that Mumsnet spreads and allows- in terms of connection to other human beings.  Having babies and being a parent is sometimes freaking complicated and Mumset allows you to get 12 pieces of advice on practically any subject matter at any time of the clock - much needed occasionally.

Gutted gutted to be missing this do this evening   http://www.timeout.com/london/around-town/event/251285/celebrity-come-draw-with-me   boo its going to be fantastic fun but hey...it wasnt meant to be this time.

On the v positive side though, I am working with a pal of mine whose blog am in love with.  Its called 'Recipe Junkie and the attack of the Custard Creams' and is by a lady called Sally Sellwood.  Her tales of daily recipes, two babes and three-legged dog are just brilliant, do dip in.

Also on the agenda has been my doing an Art workshop for 'The Clatford Art Society'  I LOVE doing these as I shake up the contents of the 20 or so, mainly elderly members, although not entirely of course.  Anyway, you would absolutely not think it as all the participants are willing and gung-ho to give my drawing exercises (which lets face it are utterly bonkers...but they work!) a go.

Its my thrill to see the whole class buzz with fun as the hours produce some ace works - jazzing up the sizes and dimensions of our work.  Its great fun and roll on March 7th when am doing the next workshop there called 'Outside in'.

Marvellous stuff indeed.
