I spent the nicest morning in my studio working on some drawings that I am hoping will compliment a friend of mines blog. 

It was lovely to get drawing again, I came out of the studio with a great big ink mark across my face - to which my darling daughter asked me why I had painted a black moustache on my face - you couldn't make it up sometimes!

Sometimes its the most simple simple simple drawings that work the best.  These are tiny drawings in pen and ink but when up on the screen they take on a whole new dimension - its nice to see a drawing come alive - for want of not sound too arty!

Anway, the big news is that this coming Thursday,  I am going to an event that I am so excited about.  Its called 'Come Draw with me' and is a 'Big Draw' event at The National Portrait museum - imagine that?   My favourite thing to do in the whole world (draw) in my most favourite ever museum (NPG) wowzers.  There are going to be celebs there too - but I have always been utterly crap and knowing whose who so I have no ideas of becoming anyones new best mate!
