On the road again and off with our next event...I love it!

I have a small solo show at The Winchester Discovery Centre, outside the workrooms.  Am really chuffed to be showing at such a great place.  Especially as Winchester is the city that I grew up in..the library was a big part of my childhood. 

The WDC is now a completely different place.  Its busy!  The times that I have been there each desk has been busy as...children enjoy events galore there and there is a cafe too.  Next to the cafe is this wonderful theatre and two workrooms that said workshops take place in.  My own children love to visit the libary now...I find it very inspiring, if only to stand in front of all the postcards laid out on the tables showing the gazillions of things to do, en famille or on your own.

My exhibition is going to have a mix of my works in.  Some suitable for Christmas gift but am not going into this show with that intention.  The reason being is that a:  by the time December comes most people have thier pressies bought and wrapped (yeah right in our house!)  and b:  artwork isn't really the type of thing that one buys folk for pressies...its a quite a decision.
